Went to the Pulau Tikus market this morning and bought nasi lemak for Danny and char bee hoon for myself. Even the char been hoon lady misses me. Feels good to be missed, hahaha. Also bought 10 packs of beef rendang home and the shopkeeper sold it for RM3 a pack. Gave me a good price wor...hmm...I wonder.
After that, went to play tennis with Brenda, Vicher, Ui May and Hooi Ling. Had a good time with the ladies and then after tennis, went to May's house for breakfast. She specially cooked me kuih bakul with shredded coconut (she knows it's my favorite), steamed mee koo and fried cempedak. Yummy yummy. Sue Hee also just came back from her vacation in Denmark and she joined us for breakfast and so did Brenda and Vicher.
At night, went out with Goon Ghee and William. They came by to fetch me from mom's house and we went to Passions of Kerala over at Gelugor. Had yummy Indian food. Was tempted to drink teh tarik but know if I do so, I won't sleep a wink tonight. So, I had a good self control and didn't order one, sigh. We chatted until 10.30pm and it was time for them to close shop. Ghee volunteered to drive us to Penang Club at Northam Road to continue with our little chit chat (we just had so much to catch up with one another, William being in Sgp and me being in the US). We were there till almost 1am and then Ghee drove me home to Bukit Jambul. Well, what a day...I had fun, praise God.
