Got good news in the snailmail today and was informed by the NCBC (Nor Cal Bowling Centers) that Sam has won the Rookie of the Year award and as such, she has been invited to the All Stars Event to be held at Reno, Nevada from Aug 22-23, 2009 and with this award, it means she has been awarded a $100 scholarship money. No doubt it's not much, but, hey, any amount is better than none, agree? Also, she's been invited to play a friendly scratch tournament where all the All Stars participants will bowl in. This will be the toughest playing field as she's up against the best of the best in Northern California. We are proud of Sam's achievement and am happy that she's been acknowledged and so, Reno, here we come on Aug 22, 2009.
