Today was a relatively easy day. Caught up with some emails in the morning and paperwork that's piling up on my desk. Then, took bath and went to Lion Market for grocery shopping. Came back and cooked taucheow steamed seabass and egg flower soup with char choi. Head out to fetch Sam from school and take her for her weekly bowling practice. Bud, the guy from the pro shop came by and taught her how to read the lane conditions and she adjusted well to it after that. Hope Sam learns and knows how to repeat the same winning formula when faced with a similar lane condition in the future.
For me, I dropped her off and then headed to Safeway to buy Belinda's birthday card and was so happy that Safeway had a sale on Haagen-Dazs, $7 for 2 pints but I only pay $6 for 2 pints as I have the Safeway card. Safeway rocks! But, best of all, found my HD green tea ice-cream. So, am getting a double bonus with a good deal and my favorite flavor at the same time.
After that, went to Ranch 99 to buy my soy milk and then headed back to Homestead to fetch Sam. By the way, did I tell you that Sam won her nomination for the position of Secretary for sophomore student council for next year's committee? Well, she ran for it against Natalie who is a very popular cheerleader. Sam told me she won't win coz Natalie is very popular and every year, she wins a position. Unfortunately, this year, luck turned around for Natalie and Sam WON instead, yipee! Sam was so happy. Talk about defining moments, this must be one of it for Sam. Good job Sam and good luck working with the new committee next year...
