Parents in law woke up early this morning to send me to the airport for my flight home to Penang at 7.15am. Although my trip to KL was short, nevertheless, the quality of time spent was well worth the short and hectic trip. I would like to accord my sincerest thanks to my parents in law for their love and kindness shown to me during my short stay in KL.

Arrived in Penang on time at 8.15am. Dad fetched me from the airport and we went to the Lip Sin market for breakfast together. After breakfast, bought home some economy dishes so that we can cook rice and eat at home.

After lunch, left home to collect my glasses from Sam Optometrist in Komtar. This is for my long sightedness. His advice - only wear it when I am reading for a long period of time. If I can help it, don't use it otherwise, my eyes will be lazy in the future. So, since bringing it home, I have yet to use it and right now, it is decorating my night stand.

Then, off to tennis I went. Played with Brenda and Choo Eng and had a game of doubles when Alan came. Choo Eng and me partnered against Brenda/Alan. We lost that game 4-6. Couldn't get any rhythm on my serve and 2nd serve was weak, very weak. Gotta work hard on improving that part of my game. It's too shabby...

Played till almost 8pm and we were shrouded in total darkness. Danny then took me to go buy supper for mom/dad as well as to Mega Mall to buy mom's mobile pouch. Then, Danny took me for dinner at Line Clear at Pg Road where they sell one of the best nasi kandar in town. The beef rendang was yummy and parking was expensive (RM4). Would I go back there? Hmm...perhaps not. Well, the food was good but the hygiene isn't? Just glad I didn't get any food poisoning after consuming all the curries and, they forgot my papadum!

Oh, and b4 I forget, Danny took me in his brand new 2nd hand BMW 525i. The engine was purring and indeed, it lived up to its advertisement of being the ultimate driving machine. What a ride...

On another front, Sam played her 2nd no-tap tournament partnering her coach, Ty Dawson and both of them came in 3rd. Yay, got scholarship money...Good job Sam, great job Ty.
