Practice session with CH's 3.0W's team was challenging indeed. Partnered with Daisy against Cherub/Michelle and I played horribly coz my right hand was still burning from the chili I cut at lunch so much so, I can't really feel my racquet. I had to blow my palm everytime I pause. Anyway, it was no fun coz Daisy and me don't make a good pairing as we don't communicate. More often than not, I lost the point due to poor communication either on her part or mine. We sucked together. Lost the match 3-6.
Then, partnered Michelle against Cherub/Daisy and this was a better match as Michelle tries very hard and she tries to run for the balls too. Won this match 6-1 but palm was still burning. Didn't enjoy tennis practice at all last night. It was no fun!
This morning, sent Sam to school as she heads into 2nd day of finals. Today is her English Honors and Global Studies exam. She's got 59/60 for her Math exam yesterday. Good job Sam. English was pretty easy she says and Global Studies was a group project and a presentation and that went well coz Sam was stewing over the fact that her group peers didn't work very hard but am glad that in the end, all her hardwork in researching for the presentation paid off.
One more day tomorrow and it's the end of school, yabba dabba doo. Didn't cook today coz there were still leftovers from yesterday. So, am just going to eat simple today. It's a restful day but I have tennis practice with Cindy/Taemi/Yodi tonight at 5.30pm @ CSF. This is my debut practice with Sandy's 3.5W's team. I look forward to playing with more pace compared to last night where I was more in a strolling mood, *LOL*. Watch out for updates tomorrow...
