As I sit and ponder this morning about what a failure I am in not being able to close out that tennis match on Sunday when I was up serving 8-5 in the super tiebreak, these words shared with me by my friend Ann from Adelaide resonated in my soul and I'd like to just share it with all of you coz it has helped me to journey through life's ups and downs. At the end of the day, as long as God's holding the steering wheel and HE's on my side, do I need to fear?
So, here's the excerpt from Encouragement for Today @ Crosswalk.com:
"Every time I fail to be the woman God calls me to be, or the woman I expect myself to be, God reminds me of the progress we've made. Because, even though I may not be who I want to be, I am not who I used to be! And I get that much closer to who I am meant to be every time I fail forward."
So, to all of you out there who's beating yourself up over something in life, I hope this will encourage you as much as it had to me. Have a pleasant day.
